DNA has designed a number of community and school libraries including the Thompson Rivers University House of Learning (with DSAI) winner of a 2012 BC Library Association Award of Excellence, Whitehorse Public Library and Cranbrook Public Library.  The firm recently completed the City of Coquitlam 33,000 sf City Centre Branch and the 2,500 sf Galiano Library community use facility.

TRU’s House of Learning is a 72,000sf facility incorporating a 4 story Atrium with Living Wall, a Learning Commons, Reading and Study Rooms and Galleries, Library Administration Offices, and a dramatic Assembly Hall modelled on the tradtional pit houses of the regions First Nation Communities. The new HOL features a curved glazed curtain wall that defines one side of the Circular Campus Common located at the centre of the university. The HOL is designed to LEED Gold standard.
