DNA provided structural and architectural consulting services for ten buildings as part of the Meadowtown Shopping Centre development. Our professionals developed cost effective structural systems to accommodate a wide variety of businesses, including banks, offices, restaurants, and retail stores, using a combination of timber and steel framing. As part of the development, we also designed a 115,000 sf, big-box style grocery store using concrete tilt-up construction as a cost effective and durable structural system, while accommodating large, open interior spaces. Our design incorporated a number of features to reflect the architectural traditions of a small town, including parapets, cornices, brick panels, canopies, and large storefronts.
