Galiano Library

The new Galiano Library represents the culmination of many years of work by the members of the Galiano Library Society. Based on preliminary concepts, DNA was retained in 2011 to develop a library design and worked closely with the Library Society and the Capital Regional District to create a Library reflecting the desire for a modest building incoporating sustainable design features and attainable within a $800,000 budget.

The new library opened in June of 2013, and has quickly become a well used community space. The library was completed within the anticipated construction schedule and was constructed at a cost lower than the originally anticipated budget.
