Parksville Firehall

The Parksville Fire Hall Project consisted of the renovation and expansion of an existing 6500ft² 30-year firehall into a new 6 Bay 18,400ft² flagship facility to meet the expanding needs of the City of Parksville.

The firehall houses 4 full time staff and a volunteer fire fighting crew of up to 20 people. The facility can support a full-time fire service of 9 fire fighters and support staff.

In keeping with a requirement of the City of Parksville City Council at the time, the project meets the requirements of LEED Gold. Accordingly, the facility incorporates several sustainable design strategies.
