Riverside Community Church - Port Coquitlam Campus

Riverside Community Church is located on a 4.4 acre site on the edge of the Dominion Triangle West of the Fremont Connector in Port Coquitlam. The program has developed with the The Four Square Union Gospel Church to meet the needs of their growing congregation.

Located on the edge of light industrial development, the use of steel and metal cladding with openings captures the rhythm of nearby by tiltup buildings. The building is organised around a central atrium which has extensive glazing north and south, expressing the Church’s desire to be open and welcoming to the surrounding residential community.
The new Church provides many spaces typically found in community centres and schools with the provision of spaces of worship, theatrical, concert, recreational and pastoral activities. The campus features a landscaped plaza and entry court with parking areas hard and softscaped to facilitate surface water management onsite in a sustainable manner.
