The Manor at Edgemont Park

Edgemont Park Estate is a 60-unit residential development located in North Vancouver. The 4 acre site presented the challenge of integrating a relatively dense development into a site with many mature trees. The overall site plan responds to the placement of significant clusters of trees to maintain a sense of the natural environment typical to the Capilano Area.

The program required two primary unit types – large 2 level townhomes interspersed with some single level apartment homes. To minimize the impact of the apartment style homes, and provide a focus for the development, the apartments were located in a single “Manor” building at the centre of the site. The townhomes were distributed around the perimeter of the site, and match the scale of the surrounding single family homes.
