Prophet River Community Development Plan
DNA worked with Prophet River to submit a funding application for the Indigenous Services Canada Budget 2018 Governance and Capacity funding program. The successful application was for a Community Development Plan to ensure that the Prophet River Government has the data and policies needed to make informed and consistent decisions regarding land use, community development and capital expenditures.
The scope of the Community Development Plan includes the following components:
- Community Consultation and Engagement
- Housing and Population Needs Assessment
- Housing and Lot Development Strategy
- Land Use Plan
- A Capital Needs Assessment
- 5-Year Capital Plan
