Heiltsuk Subdivision

Bella Bella is a First Nations community on the central coast of British Columbia. The isolated community of Bella Bella is home to approximately 1,500 people, of which most are members of the Heiltsuk Nation.

DNA was selected by the Heiltsuk Tribal Council (HTC) to provide Design and Construction Engineering Services for a community expansion. DNA combined the construction of the 46-lot subdivision and Phase 2 of the Water System Upgrade, which addressed the water system issues and the housing need in Bella Bella.

The 46-Lot infill subdivision project included extensive rock blasting and the construction of storm sewers/underground works, water main installation, sanitary main installation, water service main installation to the property lot lines, road construction, lot pad construction and paving of the 2 subdivision roads.
