Northwest Territories Métis Nation (NWTMN) Strategic Plan + Update

A resolution was passed at the NWTMN 2010 Annual General Assembly, directing the development of a Strategic Plan to establish goals, objectives and priorities for the next five years. DNA was hired to work with the Board of Directors to develop the plan which was adopted at the November 2011 Annual General Assembly.

The plan communicates the Vision, Mission and Goals of the NWTMN and presents detailed action items and timelines for achieving those goals. The primary focus of the Strategic Plan is the NWTMN Land and Resource Negotiations. It also identifies the NWTMN’s goals and action plans regarding Land Use, Culture and Environmental Management in the South Slave Region. In June 2013, DNA worked with the Board of Directors to update the Plan which continues to guide strategic actions in the region.

It’s in our DNA… Engagement. Respect. Expertise.
